Graduate Student Organization - Stony Brook

The GSO fiscal year begins on July 1^st and runs until June 30^th of every year. The Budget Committee and the Treasurer make a proposed budget which is submitted to the Executive Council who then brings the budget before the full Senate. Once passed by the Senate, the budget is sent to the Graduate School for final approval by the SUNY Board of Trustees designee, Dean Lawrence Martin, to over see the collected student activity fee.
